Bio-CNG is biogas in its purified form without the presence of other gaseous impurities. Therefore, in its essence, the Bio-CNG is quite similar to the natural gas in terms of its energy potential and chemical composition. It is one of the best eco-friendly products as it can function as a powerful renewable energy source. The interesting thing about Bio-CNG is that it can even replace CNG and LPG easily. Another benefit of the Bio-CNG is that it is extremely cost-effective to generate which makes it a very cheap source of fuel. It is a common practice in many farms to use cow dung and certain types of other wastes for generating Bio-CNG. 

During the process of Bio-CNG production, traces of carbon dioxide and hydrogen are removed from the biogas to come up with 95% methane gas. The pure gas is then compressed and bottled so that it can be transported and used. 

India has got numerous biogas power generation projects over the years. Most of the biogas generating industries predominantly use this gas for the purpose of power generation. It is now a well-known fact that Bio-CNG is five times more financially profitable than the standard natural gas.

There are some things you must keep in mind about biogas generation. The process of biogas generation is mainly a biological one that is characterized by a low nutrient requirement along with high levels of waste stabilization process. The biogas is a byproduct of this reaction along with enriched organic manure which is the other byproduct. Enriched organic manure is produced as digested slurry. Biogas Enrichment Process works as a variety of different processes that is carried out by the removal of water vapor, CO2 and H2S. The processes used for removing CO2 also get rid of H2S. Using pressurized water as a type of absorbent liquid to achieve this goal is one of the most convenient and cheapest methods to achieve this goal. In this specific method, biogas is first pressurized and then inserted from the bottom of the scrubber column and water is gently sprayed from top. The carbon dioxide as well as the hydrogen sulfide that is present in biogas gets absorbed in the down going water. The methane gas go up which is then collected in the vessel. One problem with this method is that the water requirement for this is rather high. However, it is also the simplest method to remove the impurities from the biogas. We source all the technical parts and machineries like Zeolite Molecular Sieves (made by M/s CECA France) and the non-lubricated type gas compressors from various parts of India as well as abroad for the biogas plant installation systems, the composters and the digestors.


Bio-CNG is made up of 95% methane which is a purified form of the biogas. It is quite similar to the natural gas in terms of its energy potential and chemical composition.
